Contributory Parent Visa
The contributory parent visa has both a temporary and permanent version. The Contributory Parent (temporary) visa (Subclass 173 and 884) allows the parents of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia for up to 2 years whereas the permanent version (subclass 143 and 864) allows for permanent settlement. Sponsored Parent Visa (Temporary)
